The Region of Waterloo’s programs and services touch everyone in this community. Now you can explore our 2025 Yearbook for ways we’re helping build a Waterloo Region where everyone can thrive, with progress on the priorities that matter most to our community.

This online publication has over two dozen stories that explore how we’re making progress on the priorities that matter most to our community. It includes data, statistics and videos. There’s also an accessible text-only version available.

A few highlights from the Yearbook:
• Invested $14.8 million to support The Plan to End Chronic Homelessness and helped move 398 people experiencing chronic homelessness into housing
• Worked with The Healing of the Seven Generations to open the region’s first Indigenous-led child care centre,  Ga’nigǫhi:yo Indigenous Child Care and Family Centre
• Completed 30+ projects to improve Regional roads, bridges, transit access, and expand the walking and cycling network
• Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services responded to more than 66,500 calls, delivering emergency medical services and community paramedicine programs

Check out all the 2025 Yearbook stories here. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished alongside community in 2025, and we’re working hard to build on that momentum in 2026.

Did You Know? The Region of Waterloo’s work is guided by our Growing with Care Strategic Plan, which was built with input from across this community. The Yearbook is organized to show you how we’re making progress on that plan’s four strategic priorities:

  • Homes for All
  • Equitable Services and Opportunities
  • Climate Aligned Growth
  • Resilient and Future Ready Organization

It’s also one way the Region is accountable to residents for the investments we make and the results we deliver.
