How “Growing with Care” can build a better Waterloo Region
We can choose how to grow into the future. The right decisions today will help us shape Waterloo Region into the best version of our community, for all of us living here today and for the next generation.
We can see the opportunities and challenges ahead. And we can’t navigate our way through them without knowing where we want to go. That’s why the Region of Waterloo heard from thousands of residents to build a Strategic Plan for the community, by the community. It’s called “Growing with Care,” and it guides all the Region of Waterloo’s work over the next four years.
Here in Waterloo Region, we don’t wait for the future to come to us. We make bold decisions and shape our own path. Our community is growing, and we can see there’s more to come in the future. Our Strategic Plan has a long-term focus, so we’re setting ourselves up for a future with opportunities for everyone.
