Working together on the 2025 Plan and Budget
As you go about your day, chances are you came across an essential service we provide. The Region of Waterloo delivers a range of programs you, your friends, and your neighbours rely on every day. How about getting you where you need to go, safe drinking water, garbage collection, to name a few?
All these things require funding, and more of it as our community grows faster than ever. As the 2025 budget process begins, Regional Council wants to hear from you. Here’s a message from Councillor Michael Harris:
To ensure Council hears from a broad range of residents, a telephone study over the summer by Ipsos Reid reached 1,000 people across Waterloo Region. This provides us with a robust summary of resident priorities.
