Region’s speed enforcement is keeping students safe as they return to class1 min read

It’s back-to-school time for children, and that means automated speed enforcement zones are in full effect across Waterloo Region.

The program uses an automatic camera to capture drivers over the speed limit around schools. It will expand to 32 locations by the end of this year and 175 by 2028.
