Reading Time: < 1 minuteChildren often say parents are always telling them what to do – but earlier this month, thousands of local kids brought home some lessons for their parents.
The Waterloo Wellington Children’s Groundwater Festival, co-organized by the Region of Waterloo and other partners, hosted 4,000 children in grades 2 to 5 at the Guelph Lake Conservation Area June 6-9. Through dozens of activities, children were educated on the importance of protecting and conserving groundwater.
