From photo opportunities with holiday favourites to Christmas-themed crafts, there are activities for all ages. Don’t miss the return of the magical Starry Night in Doon Heritage Village.

- 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.– Christmas at Doon (Doon Heritage Village – Kitchener)
Saturday, December 13
- 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. – Ghosts of Christmas Past (Schneider Haus – Kitchener)
- 1 to 2 p.m. and 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. – Friendship Bracelet Workshop: FRIENDS of Waterloo Region Museums Fundraiser (Schneider Haus – Kitchener)
Sunday, December 14
- 12 to 4 p.m.– Tinsel, Treats, and Tinkering – Family Holiday Party (Schneider Haus – Kitchener)
Friday, December 19 and Saturday, December 20
- 6 to 9 p.m.– Starry Night (Doon Heritage Village – Kitchener)
Monday to Wednesday, December 29, 30, 31 and Friday, January 2
- 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.– Schneider Haus Winter Break Camp (Schneider Haus – Kitchener)
Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum and Schneider Haus National Historic Site are open Wednesdays to Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
McDougall Cottage Historic Site is open Friday to Sunday 12 to 4 p.m. and will close for the season on December 14, reopening with a new exhibit, Snapshots in Time: Nostalgia and Memory in February 2026.
