Autumn in the Region of Waterloo is something truly special. The vibrant colors of the changing leaves, the crispness of the air, sprawling farmland, and the gentle flow of the Grand River create a perfect backdrop for capturing stunning seasonal moments.
We’re excited to announce that our annual Fall Photo Contest is back for its second year! Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or simply love snapping photos of local scenery, we invite you to show off the beauty of our region in autumn.
From now until October 31, share your best fall photos of the region by posting them on X, Facebook, or Instagram using the hashtag #XOWRFall. Show us how you see fall through your lens, whether it’s a shot of golden fields, colorful forests, or cozy autumn moments in the community.
Four finalists will be selected, and the public will vote for the top two! The winners will receive gift cards from Kitchener’s Henry’s Camera—a $100 prize for first place and $50 for second place. Full contest details.
